A Day In The Life Of A Social Media Apprentice
Three weeks and one full notebook later…I’ve learned loads and I love my job. I literally can’t wait for Mondays to come around.
Not everyone feels this way, so I believe I’m incredibly lucky. For many, Sunday nights can be flooded with thoughts of “where did the weekend go?” and feeling the Sunday night ‘dreadies’. Sunday night blues are very common with the average person moaning around 34 minutes on a Monday morning compared to just 22 minutes during the rest of the week. For the past three weeks my total moaning time has been 0. I look forward to Monday mornings.
I have settled in very well at CW and have enjoyed everything I have been involved with. Within my first fortnight I attended a black tie event at The Kaleidoscope Plus Group’s inaugural World Mental Health Day Charity Gala Ball. Everyone had a brilliant time and it was great getting an insight into what CW does for their clients.
My confidence has grown and I can even answer the phone properly!
The confusion of terminology has finally become clear and I almost sound like I know what I’m talking about. I can even listen to meetings and actually understand what’s going on.
I don’t ever have a ‘typical day’ as everyone is always teaching me new things. Each day is refreshingly different so I’m always kept busy and on my toes.
Still loving every second!
