Gerber Juice is Europe’s largest dedicated fruit juice manufacturer operating from a major production and distribution site in Somerset. A traditional printed newsletter was, and remains, the most effective channel to reach our people and our objectives are to recognise their contribution and success, engage with them and share business and market information and to encourage and empower them to feed back their news and views.
It was clear to us that we needed a physical communication as our target audience are production workers and they do not have access to computers at work. It needed to be straightforward, straight talking and accessible, and we were confident that CW would deliver this for us with their years of experience helping many other large and very well-known companies with their internal communications.
When I took on responsibility for co-ordinating Juicy News, I was really concerned about the time commitment I would need to give. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised how quick and easy it has been. We just give CW the bare bones and their journalists come in and get on with it. Their experience means they get really involved and under the skin of the business and bring us stories and ideas too which is definitely one of the strengths of our relationship and makes life much simpler for me.
